Antica Dolceria Rizza is a perfect synthesis of tradition and modernity: in a creative way it continues to combine the delicious aromatic symphonies of Modica chocolate with the fragrances of memory. 

The chocolate of Modica, imported by Spaniards, contains the secrets of the Master Artisans who since 1746 have handed down the ancient recipe and the sweet friability. For four generations, for almost a century, the Rizza Family has been producing its chocolate with the best raw materials, respecting the ancient workmanship by balancing tastes and shapes with alchemy.

It was Don Peppino, thanks to his brilliant intuition and passion for his work, who obtained the important recognition as the undisputed creator of Modica's sorbet and legendary chocolate. 

His magic and aromatic bars are perfect if tasted in chunks or in steaming hot chocolates. The refined confectionery products embody that impalpable creativity, handed down from father to son. 

Eighty years later, the family tradition continues, thanks to the passion of the sons and grandson of Don Peppino, committed to faithfully produce Modica's chocolate, ice creams and typical specialties as in the past.

Only at the end of a long and laborious process, the bars are ready to be consumed, taking on that unmistakable trait, related to taste and manufacturing origin. 

These characteristics differentiate the chocolate and chocolates in Modica of Antica Dolceria Rizza, from all other types of chocolate, making them original and unique.
